A queen size mattress will gennerally run 60 to 66 inches wide and 80 inches long. A Queen size mattress is a good fit for a sleeper who doesn’t require or doesn’t have as much room for a King Size bed set. The two types of Queen size mattresses are:
- Standard Queen size: 60 inches wide by 80 inches long
- Olympic Queen size: 66 inches wide by 80 inches long
Queen size mattresses are a great fit for smaller master bedrooms and guest rooms, also, their bedding generally is less expensive than that of King size beds and mattresses. This size mattress though may not be sufficient for larger couples.
